How do I report suspected counterfeit DVDs sold on line?
I purchased the complete “Perry Mason” series advertised as having ‘excellent video and audio quality,’ ‘…custom artwork,’ and bearing the seal of Trustwave Trusted Commerce. The site photo had custom artwork but my copies had none. I contacted both the seller and Trustwave to explain that the DVDs were too dark, too bright and washed out, some bore the logo of TV Land, most of them stuck and would not play, and I wanted my money back and information on how to return my purchase. Neither has acknowledged my emails nor have they responded. These DVDs were, in my opinion, cloned in China from very poor VCR tapes and then transferred [without any regard for quality] to disk. I would like to report the seller www.tvdvdstore.net to someone who can at least see that others don’t end up getting scammed by blatantly false advertising and pirated content. Make the Internet a safe place to shop!
