Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?
I’m really concerned:
I do things in evens…a lot. When i’m walking on tiles, i must step on then at least twice, making it evenly. Another time. I was watching a film on DVD. When the film reached it’s climax, i kept looking at the clock seeing what time it was. I was doing this unknowingly. I kept doing it over and over and over. Last night, i took off my glasses to watch tv. I kept putting my glasses back on to see what time it was. I did this at least 7 or 8 times. I don’t know if this is OCD. I looked this up doing things evenly and Looking at clocks, one too many times, and i saw such things as that. Please Help!
Oh, yeah. That sounds like OCD alright. Those types of things waste so much time, don’t they? Such a nuisance. I would treat at home first. Don’t worry. You’re going to be OK.
It is a symptom of a very common problem that affects the nervous system that regulates brain functions. I used the treatment below to get rid of those bothersome situations. I didn’t invent this, but I did customize it based on the best available knowledge – my reactions.
OCD and like problems are a symptom of an over-stimulated nervous system – a reaction to chemicals in your diet and or environment that are affecting the part of your nervous system that regulates brain functions.
Your OCD is your symptom, not your health problem. The OCD represents specific neurons in the nervous system that regulate specific brain cell activity. You develop OCD, while I develop something else based on the neurons affected. This occurs because neurons become weaker and can’t tolerate stimulation from chemicals as they once did.
Sensitivity to chemicals is like chemical intoxication. The brain does weird things. It’s a type of allergy. You have symptoms of MCS. – multiple chemical sensitivity syndrome. Also known are chemical allergy / intolerance. Chemicals are the only thing strong enough to mess with the nervous system that way.
Anxiety, panic, depression, aggression, phobia, OCD
ADD, ADHD, etc. = MCS – multiple sensitivity syndrome,
when chemicals are too harsh for neurons that have become frail from too much stimulation. Probably were weak to begin with. Everyone has frail neurons, just not the same ones..
Treatment: remove chemicals from diet and avoid common
household chemical products so nervous system can calm down. May be a permanent change in life-style.
Relief is very dramatic and quick when steps below are followed followed. You will know you are recovering by you symptoms. One other thing, if you have grain based (flour) foods in your house get rid of them. Breathing even the dust from then can trigger the reactions because flour dust contains pesticides. Your OCD can be a sensitivity to foods with pesticides. If you can do the steps completely in a week, by the end of the next week you should be much better.
Objective is to make body and home, especially the bedroom more chemically neutral so the nervous system isn’t so touchy. MCS is recognized by Social Security and the VA. but the Drs aren’t up to speed on the MCS diagnosis yet. Chemicals are the triggers for most health problems.
All products are easy on the nervous system
Tide-free – wash all bedding, pillows right away. Then clothes
Palmolive original dish detergent – use for all cleaning.
Aleve neproxen (non-gelcaps) – gentle on the nervous system
Dr Bronner’s organic unscented liquid soap – from Amazon.com or health food store
Baking soda for toothpaste
Colgate’s Peroxyl rinse for mouth wash
Start organic diet – only full organic ingredients. No organic processed foods are fully organic
Use all organic:
Produce
Butter (salted only)
Eggs
Whole milk
unbleached flour
Salt – pure with no added flowing agents
Olive oil
Use ocean caught fish on place of organic meat to trim budget.
I think that’s all. Below are some of my sources. The top two are very good. First one has tips for avoiding chemicals in the home. The second talks about how chemical allergies are mistaken for “true” mental illness. You’re going to be OK. But do follow the steps. Good luck to you!
