Is there a discontinued sweet, chocolate or item of confectionary that you really miss?
Currently, tins of Cadbury’s Roses and Quality Street are on sale in the long build-up to Christmas.
Over the years, I noticed that many of the all-star cast of Cadbury’s Roses have fell by the wayside. Marzipan, Chocolate Log, Coffee Cream, Montelimar, Noisette Whirls and the deeply sexual Almond Bites. Nowadays, the tin is as soulless and bland as the final 12 in a reality TV show.
Over the years, we have seen some great confectionery – but which of the fallen heroes do you miss?

All great answers – no TD from me, clearly someone does not have a sweet tooth….

Barley Sugar Sticks. Cherry Lips and my all time childhood favourite, toffee cigarettes.
I know what you mean about the Cadbury’s Roses, all the best are missing now..
Also the bars of marzipan chocolate and the Cadbury’s Milk tray bars for when you didn’t have enough money for a box.
Those were the days when the poor and fiscally challenged were catered for.
