Advice on TV Purchase?
Heres the deal – I need some help from you tech-savvy people with an upcoming purchase.
- I need a new tv, mine is a dinosaur.
- I’m looking for someone in the neighborhood of 37-42 inch.
- I’m not particularly interested in additional features such as internet connectivity and the like.
- I AM interested in great picture quality, realiability, price, etc.
- Speaking of price, ideally this purchase would be in the neighborhood of $500-$700 (yeah, I’m cheap)
- I would like to avoid buying a warranty unless its strongly reccommended otherwise, but my thought is if you shell out that much money, the quality of the product should certainly be guranteed.
- There aren’t a lot of electronics retailers nearby so Wal-Mart/Target/Best Buy are my likely choices.
Please make some solid suggestions and if whether I should wait a month or so to see if prices drop.
