Can I use a “Magic Jack” (as seen on TV) for a phone line so I can fax?
I don’t have a land-line. Any suggestions
I have used Magic Jack and frankly it wasn’t that “magic”
Lots of static and difficulty connecting sometimes.
I would NOT recommend this as your business phone.
I’d recommend you get an online fax number and couple that with Skype
Skype is $12.95 per month and calls throughout your home country…
….AND to your home country when traveling are free.
You receive your calls on your home phone number or cell phone and can
change that in just a few seconds.
For fax, ringcentral and efax are pretty solid. This will send your faxes to your
email so your not having to print those out anywhere. It’s not an oil spill cleanup
but you are helping the planet a little bit.
