Where can u find a nail grinder like the one as seen on tv for dogs?
I know about a dozen dog breeders and two have tried the Peticure… both of ‘em threw it out.
All my dog breeder friends swear by a Dremmel rotary file… you can buy the name brand one at any big box home improvement store, or a knock off (Wal-Mart’s is only $18).
You’ll have to break your dog into the process of having his/her nails filed –use treats, affection and lotsa verbal praise– and you probably won’t be able to file ‘em all in the first couple of sessions. But over time and making sure you make every session fun, comforting and happy… your pet will get used to it and might even look forward to it.
