Is the TV advertised “MultiMaster” as good as they say?
I see the “Multi-Master advertised on TV and it sounds a bit too good to be true. Besides, infomercials make me leery to begin with. Has anyone tried this tool? What did you think? Live up to expectations? Are there similar tools at my local hardware store under another brand name?
The Fein Multimaster tool that is advertised on TV lives up to its performance. Go with Ed’s answer, also, you get what you pay for. I own the Multimaster and I swear by it, it performs as it is advertised. The tool is made in Germany and is not like the other Chinese junk that is advertised on TV. It is well made and very sturdy and it can be repaired if it is ever needed to be. It comes with a hefty price tag and I found it to be worth the price. I would assume that the one from Rockwell is made in China, if it is, don’t buy it, youi get what you pay for. I purchased mine from Amazon.com, I received free shipping and paid no sales tax. Also, Amazon carries all the accessories for the tool at a reasonable price.
