Where to send donations of household items to help people in the US or Vets…?
I have tons of nice clothes (adult and child), lots of jackets, shoes, a queen size bed frame with headboard (mattress and box-spring if they want it), kitchen items, toys (most used) some not, bed sheets, blankets, 3 tube TVs if they want them (still work with remote), a printer (maybe 2, need to check if the other works because it’s sat for a year), etc.
The thing is I would like my donations to help out those who need it in the US or Vets.
I live in Illinois.
Any ideas on a good organization that would want the items?
I always use to donate to someone that I knew or to the Airman’s attic when I was in the military but now live so far from a military base don’t see that as an option. Nothing better then seeing or just knowing that some little girl gets to wear my little girls cute clothes again.
