The short count, the change raise scam?
The other day i saw a programme called the Real Hustle, on this particular episode they showed a change scam. Involving changing a £20 note, back and forth with the cashier. Eventually scamming the shop keeper for a £10, apparantly this works out of confusion but i have my doubts because i seen where the con was as soon as they began to act it out. Seems like a pretty obvious scam, if the till worker is any good at maths lol.
Anyone think that this thing really works or do you all think that it is just a silly scam set up to be shown on the TV?
P.S. I have read on many websites that the show in question is all fake and the “marks” know that they are getting conned for the TV show..
Catch anyone off guard and you can confuse them, guess you just have to be very confident and heartless to do that.
