Okay please read, i know its long but i seriously need some help with this kid lol kk thanks:)
okay so my cousin caitlin (2) is staying with us for the weekend, she likes and knows us alot we see her practically every day. anyways my mom went out tonight and i was in charge of her. as we were watching tv while going to sleep she kept saying “ow ow ow” and rubbing her elbow saying she had a bobo. i called my mom and asked her wat to do, she said put a band aid on it.. of course we didnt have any. So now shes crying saying mommmy mommy mommy for the past ten minutes with my brother. i explained to her that mommy isnt here and wont be back until tomorrow. she continues on to cry.
do you guys have any tips?
ps theres nothing wrong with her elbow. and she just wont listen because shes crying to much.
i dunno if this would work but you could try..
be like “come over here, let me look at that elbow” act concerned and examine the elbow and then say “omg! look–your elbow is still there!!!”
sometimes doing that assures them it is okay…
