White Entertainment TV, White Student Union, And More?
American will never be free from racism and there will ALWAYS be division among the races because there is an unwillingness to understand the other groups, within each culture.Whites, being the dominant group can virtually live their entire lives never having ventured outside of their neighborhoods or being around minorities and many of them are unwilling to do so.As a result they speculate and make assumptions based on tv and the news. While minorites have to learn the about whites as apart of education, in order to gain employment and even have to assimilate so as not to scare their white counterparts and gain success. Consequently many minorities grow to hate and resent whites. When I see questions about white entertainment tv and white student unions I really wonder if the posters are even a little intelligent.A basic knowledge of history would explain that we had to create them b/c their ancestors refused to allow us into theirs.Understanding is KEY for CHANGE! Thoughts?
Exactly, but don’t waste your energy trying to explain, because those that ask those kinds of questions are either too young to understand, or so consumed by hate and ignorance that there’s nothing you can do to change their minds. The former still has time to grow and learn, the latter has the constant weight and burden of hate that they will carry for the rest of their lives. Don’t try to educate them, just pity them.
