The search Volume on the web for Egypt holidays goes through the roof!
The Term holidays, is a strange one, and very curious. When you try to find a holiday what do you expect when you type in “holidays”? Those people that do just type “holidays” into Google, have not really though about which holiday they want! I have done a lot of research into specific holidays across the world and I have tried to locate the ones that are most popular from the UK. I will write another post for the US!
Interestingly enough when you ask people, which holidays are the most popular, most will say Spain or Turkey, and for the most they are right. These holidays are well known, for being a hot country in a cheap environment. This isn’t what i want to look at though, i want to see how things work outside of Europe! Most people come back to you and say “It has to be America or the Caribbean”. And this is where you will find them to be (sort of) wrong.
Generally people don’t search all that much for “America holidays”, in fact they usually look for a specific place in this land of the free. Places like New York, Las Vegas and Florida are among the largest of these “Search Volumes”. Search Volume is that amount of people that look on the internet for a specific term. After looking into this I thought that the general public would be right and that the Caribbean and America had the highest search volume. There was something i found that was very different. Egypt had a much higher search volume than either of these. Specific places in Egypt had even larger search volumes than the country itself.
“Sharm El Sheikh Holidays” are by far the highest in regards to search volume outside of the EU. Almost 250k people search for this specific term on the internet each month in the UK alone. This is a massive amount, almost as much as the general term holidays. Everybody has the general idea of where they want to go, some are just lazier than others or want to see what offers are available to different places.
To conclude Egypt holidays is one of the most wanted trips available, and Sharm El Sheikh holidays is the most popular location, if you prefer to go scuba diving, I recommend Hurghada holidays!
