security guards I need advice?
ok people I have another question. I work at a cable company. on friday I moved my desk cause the sun was hitting in my eyes inside the building. so i moved it to a shader spot inside the building. my boss asked me about the desk situation as well. so I told him i moved it cause the sun. I can’t stand the sun . it hurts my eyes. they thought i was watching tv to move the desk. that was not the problem i also was working on my crossword puzzles as well to the right side of me. the other guard who works there ft he plays games on his cell phone. I did not do nothing wrong. but the cable company has 2 tvs there. one on the left and one on the right. there is no way i can see 2 of the tvs there. unless i walk to them. sitting down i can’t see them. so this is pretty crazy isn’t it? what do u people think?
It sounds to me like you’re lucky to have a job. Quit moving your desk, and don’t follow examples of playing games (or watching TV). Put on some glasses with a tint if the sun bothers you that much. These days it’s easier to get rid of you and hire somebody who won’t complain about the sun than to put up with whining. (Sorry if that sounds abrupt, but it’s just the way companies operate these days!)
