why is my grandmother so weird?
she doesn’t believe in dryers. She wants to dry her clothes on clothing lines which is not easy. She doesn’t want to use the dishwasher, she wants to wash dishes by hand with paper towels and not dish towels. She never cleans with towels, just paper towels. When we watch TV, she doesn’t want to watch TV with VERY LITTLE sex or violence. Tonight we were watching an episode where there was a funeral. I know it’s not real but she act like she thinks it is, it’s just a TV show! My grandfather died almost three months ago. I’ve lost my grandfather as long as she’s lost her husband. Both of us went to the funeral the same day and same time, same place. I’m not traumatized by the tv show showing a fictional funeral but she clearly is. I don’t understand that. I also don’t understand why she enjoys being sad and depressed all the time, she won’t take her meds or see a doctor. She’s driving me away. I’ve dealt with this for 5 years and I’m sick of it. Why is she so weird?
Because she’s old and she’ll die soon and her memory isn’t that good and she’s an old-fashion gal……………
