Why does everyone hate on curling?
Everyone on here seems like they hate curling although they have never tried it and don’t know anything about it.
A lot of people also question why it is in the olympics.
It is a sport. It requires physical activity (try actually sweeping a rock, putting all your wieght on a broom and moving it back and forth really fast) it IS tiring. All the front end guys in the Olympics that you see are buff and fit, but most people see the skips (they are on tv the most) and they don’t require much physical strength, but a lot of mental strength, and physical talent. Yes. It does take talent to curl well. And anyone that disagrees clearly hasn’t tried it. Most everyone that tries it gains respect for the sport (yes SPORT) and actually has a lot of fun. Curling is getting big on TV as well and is actually the 2nd most watched sport (if i have my facts straight) on TSN. Why do people hate on something they have never tried? I dont get it!

I actually like curling. I was in college for these past winter olympics, and me and my friends would gather around and watch the US. (even tho we didn’t do to well). As to why people hate it, I’m not really sure. I guess because its not very fast paced and is more of a climated sport. Meaning you have to live in a cold climate for it to be played.
