Please help figure out what movie/TV show this is [Sci-fi, horror, aliens]?
Okay, this is a bit of an old movie or TV show (but I’m pretty sure it’s a movie). I watched it when I was a kid, so it’s most likely from the late 80′s to the mid 90′s. I remember this one scene very clearly: A man is sitting by a window and it’s raining. He and his friends are all at a diner or restaurant. The man is wrapped in a blanket and he looks out the window and as the lightning and thunder strike, his face kind of morphs into this horrible expression. And I also remember this one other scene: a man wakes up in this cocoon-type thing and he breaks out of it. He sees that there are hundreds and hundreds of other “cocoons” and people inside of them. And the last bit I remember is a man lying on an operating table, but he’s surrounded by aliens and one of the aliens takes a knife or a scalpel and the man’s screaming.
If anyone knows what movie or TV show this is, that’d be hugely appreciated. It’s been bugging me for a while.
I think it’s the 1993 film “Fire In the Sky”.
I watched it when I was a kid too, and it scared the bejeezus out of me 
. I don’t remember the face morph scene, but the other two you mention are from this movie.
