Jessica Simpson And Billy Corgan Are Dating? Or Just Good Friends?
After releasing Jessica Simpson, her photos with Billy Corgan last month, the rumors that the two are dating reached its highest volume yet. According to People at that time one source told, “He got her number and starting calling her. He thought she was cute … adorable … and she got a little crush.”
Now Billy Corgan has finally clarified his relationship with Jessica Simpson, that is Working Relationship. “She asked me to help her out on the theme song for her new TV show,” Corgan told the Chicago Tribune.
As for the romance rumors, Corgan, 42, said, “The stuff that I’ve seen doesn’t have any bearing to the reality that I’m in. It’s like being in a cartoon. It has nothing to do with what’s really going on or how I feel. She goes around the world to show how different people perceive beauty. In some cultures, bigger is better. In some, smaller is better. It’s interesting.”
He says that he ended up writing part of the theme song, which he describes as having “a little bit of an alternative rock edge, but it’s still very pop-y.”
People reported that Simpson and Corgan had been dating for four months, but none of them confirmed such reports. In January, Simpson shared their photos through twitter and she wrote “I am blessed,” adding that it’s “fun to be lost in laughter”. “The stuff that I’ve seen doesn’t have any bearing to the reality that I’m in,” he said. “It’s like being in a cartoon. It has nothing to do with what’s really going on or how I feel.”
“I definitely will marry an artistic man,” says Simpson, 29, in the Simpson’s current Allure cover story. “I don’t have a physical type. I have an emotional type. When you have yourself together, I don’t care what you look like at all”
a source close to Simpson tells PEOPLE the pair are “good friends.”
