Re-decorating my room.. any ideas?

I have a small room, with a Q/size bed, a white desk & B/in Wardrobes. I have an obsession with butterflys & The b&w look (Grey photos, b&w furniture).i also love photos on the wall etc.. If that helps… Except my mum doesn’t want a Dark room.. As i said i ABSOLUTLY LOVE butterflys.. I wanted to paint it like a garden but im now 18 so i want it to look alittle more mature. My room is small & only has enough room to sleep etc.. I really dont mind getting rid of the desk and the holder for the tv. I just REALLY need a change.. Here are some photos… if you have any personal exerience or any ideas please let me know.. i would love to see photos aswell.

I would first off get a few boxes and take down all the things on the walls.
Then if your allowed I would paint your room white, and that piece of trim on your walls in black.
I would also take that boarder down it will not match your other things.
Then I would get all wooden picture frames in the color black and white.
If you have some wooden picture frames you can paint them black and white. You could even put butterfly stickers from a scrap booking store like A C Moore on them after you paint them. They even have sickers that stick out like 3-d.
I would put the desk beside your bed up against the wall. You could use it for a bed stand and a TV stand . That way you have 1 piece of furniture. Instead of two or 3.
That big pink board on the wall.take it and cover that with a deep purple color material. It will go great with the white walls and black trim.
You could even paint 1 ft wide black and white stripes on 1 wall. That way it will not look to dark.
You need curtains. Maybe you could find material with a medium dark back ground, or medium dark curtains with butterflies on them.
Then you got to deside what bedspead you would want to go with the other colors and of course new pillow cases.

You can pick these things up pretty cheap at thrift stores,goodwill stores,dollar stores, yard sales,flea markets, Ebay. And wal-mart has a section of material on clearance you could look for somehing with butterflies on it there.
The paint you can buy a Wal-mart for like 10.00 a gallon.
Just use your imagination .And your find everything you need at good prices.

PS: Do not forget you can buy storege boxes for under your bed.To keep things you need.But yet you can keep it out of sight. If the bed sits to low to the floor, put something under the legs to rise it up.
