Does anyone know which version of “You (can) take my breath away” has been used for figure skating routines?
About 10-12 years ago I remember seeing a figure skating competition on TV in which a skater performed to a song with the repeated lyrics
You… (can) take my breath away.
You…(can) take my breath away.
The song was a slow ballad, of course, as one would expect for a long routine. I have never been able to find the artist of this song. Even though there are several songs with the same or similar names, one by Queen, one by Sarah Brightman, none of them sound remotely like this haunting love song. Any figure skating aficionados out there who can imagine what this song would have been?
Thanks
Maybe it was Enrique Iglesias’s “Hero”
