Why is my T.V. screen not working?
My TV screen is acting up, each time we turn it on the screen goes black with white stripes and blotches, we then turn it on and off for 20 minutes and eventually it works (With some tapping of the back of the TV). This started since we got a new PS3 and we used an AV Multiscart plug, (follow link to see http://www.gizoo.co.uk/products/avcommunications/tvgadgets/multiscart.htm)
Is it due to the PS3 or the new plug or both?
We think it may also be because there is a bad connection because sometimes the sound works but the screen stays the still white and black image.
Please help, as my TV is suffering, its an LG flat screen, if the model no would help let me know. Thank you
I suspect you have a badly soldered connection on your TV printed circuit that needs re-soldering.
This problem normally could be easily fixed by a authorized service technician.
