penis while he slept because he had been unfaithful, i dont know what happened to her, i assume she was jailed, but the really amazing thing was that the women in the uk who were talking about it thought it was really funny, as though she had just cut his clothes off or something,. and some women actually supported her i would like to see what these same women would say if she had been unfaithful and he had cut off one of her breasts or sexually assaulted her with a knife. what was the reaction of american women to this
To this day, some of us Americans “make light of” or joke around about it, but not JUST women! I hear men joke around about it too.
If you were in a third world country, you wouldn’t do something like that, cuz losing your (ahemmmm) would be a much easier punishment that what happens in those places!
I think Americans joke about a lot of things (not just Americans, but people in general) to kind of put the real shock of it all behind them a little.
Kind of like using humor to deal with crisis, or horror in this case.
